We are here, the last part of the BRP was absolutely gorgeous, the sun came out to give us a view of the sheer unadulterated beauty of the BRP. (no BRP does not stand for burp it is Blue Ridge Parkway) You can see from the pictures some of the flowers are starting to bloom, as for the scenery I will let the pictures handle that! My navigator did a great job of getting us here in one piece, I am sure without her help leaning to the left on alternate curves the RV would never have negotiated all the turns so flawlessly!

Of course since we were one week earlier then planned we ran into rental car difficulty. The local Enterprise dealer closed at Noon so we had to scramble to get a car. Larry, the KOA Manager, made a lot of phone calls for us and then let us take his brand new truck to the airport to pick up the car. He was amazed that the local car rentals closed so early on a Saturday and also that there were no cars available from those that were open. We are amazed at the hospitality of the people in the South. Anyway, we are all set now and can get to the sight seeing in the area. Still haven’t got Ron convinced to go the tow route yet though.
