Well it has been another beautiful, sunny day for us to enjoy with temps in the high 70’s.
Had a leisurely breakfast then a great drive with very little traffic through DC around the beltway.

Stopped at Luray Caverns in Luray, Va. What a spectacular place. Everyone should have the opportunity to see such a geological wonder. The second leg of today’s journey started on Skyline Drive, which so far has been very nice. We are about halfway through the drive and will finish tomorrow.

It is 8:30 pm and we are at a National Park Campground overlooking the mountains and valley. There are very few people here so it is very quiet. Had a campfire going but had to give it up because it is very chilly, especially at 3600 feet. Nice and Warm in the RV though.
Bascially, was a quiet but enjoyable day. Loving life right now. It’s on to the “Natural Bridge” in Va. and then on to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Oh, had a great home cooked meal tonight. First one since Easter.
